Glass sliding doors open onto the pool area. The perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee and meals. Patio with table and chairs. Two lounge chairs to relax and read. This is one of our larger ground-floor apartments; spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained. New king bed with 500 thread count sheets. The living room has a sofa bed. A well-equipped kitchen with granite countertops. Free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV. Linens supplied. The central office is only one block away with friendly English-speaking staff to help you with anything you need.
Base rate for 2 people. Extra person per night $30 USD. Non smoking only.

For larger families and groups it is possible to also rent Casa Zarah, a 3-bedroom home, and Casa Catalina #2, a second-floor, one-bedroom apartment. These units share a large lot separated by a wall with a connecting door. Great location, only a two-minute walk to the beach and 15 minutes to the town square.

  It’s a great property — super spacious, nicely decorated, full kitchen, and it has a pullout couch. Plus, it has its own private pool, which is a huge bonus with kids. Only two blocks from the beach. Definitely recommend!

  My wife and I have been coming to Puerto for almost 10 years. Split between resorts and rentals. Just spent a week at Casa Catalina #1. This was the best rental experience. The 1 BR was perfect with a great Mexican decor and excellent kitchen utensils. Plunge pool was a plus and loved having breakfast on the patio. While on the north end of Puerto, it was quiet and less than a 5 minute walk to our 2 favorite beach bars. Less than a mile from the town square. Only hiccup was the internet went out. Notified Abbey del Sol and it was fixed within an hour. Great service. 10 out of 10.

  3 couples. Absolutely fantastic stay! The place gives everyone privacy and space. The communal area... kitchen, dining room, living room, several decks and the pool were all great! Happy Hour on the top deck looking at the ocean and many afternoons in the pool after walking the nearby beach and having lunch overlooking the ocean. Would recommend to anyone with the caveat that there are MANY stairs! Mobility could be an issue for some.

  We were well looked after by the staff at Abbey del Sol. The unit has a nice pool for cooling off on a hot sunny day. We were a short 5 minute walk from Puerto Morelos famous beach. The king size bed was very comfortable. Casa Catalina is about 1.6 km from the town square, about a 15 minute walk. There were bikes available as well to ride into central Puerto Morelos. The neighborhood is quiet and away from the noise of the bars and restaurants.

  We loved our holiday in Puerto Morelos in part because of the accommodation at Casa Catalina. The apartment was lovely, exactly as depicted...very clean, beautifully decorated and had everything one could want in the kitchen. The staff at Abbey Del Sol were friendly and helpful every step of the way from booking to check out. The location is a short walk to the best part of the beach. We are seniors and found it too far for a comfortable, leisurely stroll to the town square. However, it is a do-able 20-25 minute walk and very easy by bicycle. Highly recommend for a stay of any duration.

  My husband and I stayed at Casa Catalina. We had a fabulous time. It was decorated beautifully. It smelled good. It was sparkling clean. The beds were so comfortable that I didn’t have trouble sleeping the first night in a new place. The towels were fluffy. There were plenty of dishes. The pool was clean and a great temperature. The welcome book gave great information. It was on a quiet street. There were restaurants and the beach close by. Bicycles were provided. Every little detail was thought of for a perfect stay. I can’t wait to go back!
