Enjoy the comfort of this beautifully decorated, Hacienda style home that has the spaciousness your family will love. Great location just 3 blocks to the beach and 9 blocks to the town square. An easy walk into town or use the free bikes. The large screened porch by the pool will be your refreshing getaway. Large BBQ and table for 6 by the pool for those fun, family cookouts. The first floor "great room" concept continues the feeling of spacious relaxation with colorful and tasteful decor. The huge windows and patio doors opening onto the courtyard let in the soft Caribbean breeze. All the amenities like a well-equipped kitchen, soft sheets on new mattresses, free wifi, a huge DVD library at the main office and so much more. Just ask and our staff will help you plan your day excursions, snorkeling on the world-famous reef, or just lounging by the beach that is a short walk away. The Abbey office is just a block away with the bilingual staff there to meet all your needs.

A/C throughout. The 3 bedrooms have a king bed in one, a king in the second, and two twin beds that can be made into a king in the third. Private bath in one bedroom. The other two bedrooms share a bathroom with a huge tub and walk-in shower. There is a convenient half bath on the ground floor.

The new pool has a shallow shelf great for little kids to splash around on and then a deeper half for the adults. Lounge and play the day away!

For group travel, there are two, newly built, one-bedroom apartments on the back section of the large lot.

From the comfortable beds to the expansive pool area, everything was well-considered and well-kept. Check in was a breeze. We have vacationed in Puerto Morelos for many years and this was the best accommodation we've ever had. Will definitely return (if we can manage to obtain a booking at this popular property!)

    We loved Casa Zarah overall and would stay at the property again.
    The host was extremely responsive to questions, even after business hours which was appreciated.

    However, arriving was nothing short of a hassle though and it truly got the entire trip started in a rut. From difficulties finding our driver (which we booked through Abbey Del Sol), to the driver dropping us off in the pouring rain at the wrong compound/home, to ruining my favorite shoes (and only sneakers for the trip) trying to flag the driver back down to pick us back up and drop us off at the correct location, it was a nightmare.

    The home itself was lovely but beware, the mosquitos are vicious and we’re problematic the entire trip. Bring lots of bug repellant if you plan to enjoy the pool area.

    I found the location to be conveniently located for my needs and the bicycles were a perk as well. Overall 4.5 stars!

    Casa Zarah is an amazing home away from home. We travel to Puerto Morelos typically about twice a year. We always rent a property with Abbey del Sol. They have many beautiful homes and condos. Casa Zarah is our favorite (but all are wonderful). It is on the north end of town and very quiet. The home is beautifully decorated and well equipped. The pool is amazing and where we spend much of our time. AC is cool throughout the house. Jin and Mariela are always extremely helpful and quick to take care of your needs.

    We enjoyed our stay at Casa Zarah very much but wished we would have stayed longer. The management company provided excellent customer service. We enjoy staying in smaller towns and Puerto Morelos is a great smaller community that even had an English speaking Mass at San Jose Obrero Catholic Church. The beautifully decorated house was well like by all six of us adults. It was clean, well maintained and very roomy. The quieter location was perfect for us as it is on the edge of town but within walking distance to the church/town square/shopping/restaurants. The four bicycles were a bonus that we took advantage of. We spent a lot of time in the pool area swimming and lounging in the sun and shade. Our next stay at Casa Zarah will definitely be for longer than three nights!!!

    Our family rented the lovely Casa Zarah for 3 weeks in March. For an extra bedroom we added the new Casa Catalina. Both homes were beautifully appointed, well supplied, comfortable and spacious. The pool area was gorgeous and very well used by all of us! The house is a block from the beach, where we also spent a lot of time.

    We recently spent 3 weeks at Casa Zarah. It is a very nice, spacious house. The 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs were very comfortable and roomy. And having a first floor powder room was perfect. The kitchen, living room and dining space on the first floor were all generous in size and nicely appointed. Our favorite room was the screen porch overlooking the pool. The pool area was great with plenty of chairs and sun from about 10:30-4:30. There was an outside shower to use which was very handy. The pool area was cleaned and maintained several times a week. The house is on the far north side of town so about a 20 minute walk to get to all the restaurants. It is a block from the ADS office which made exchanging towels, having laundry done, etc. very easy. We did not cook any dinners, just had simple breakfasts and lunches but the kitchen had everything you needed plus there was a nice outside dining table and grill to use if you wanted. The ADS office staff was amazing and was quick to respond to our questions or to help us with anything we needed. The house was very clean when we arrived and we had cleaning/spruceups every week from the great housekeeping staff. If you are having a family gathering, this is a great house to rent!

    The house is lovely, spacious and clean. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. The AC works great. The pool is perfect. It is all so clean and well maintained. The staff are quick to respond and will help you make all your vacation arrangements. They helped us with 3 amazing snorkeling trips, a day trip to Mayan ruins, cenote and Valladolid, ask for Felix he knows the best places to find typical Yucatan food. We had a couple of massages at the house from Gabriel, totally worth every penny. The house is a short walk to everything you need.

    This house was unbelievable. Beautiful. Clean. Huge. Our family totally loved it. There is space for days. The outdoor patio table is where we eat almost every meal - the breeze was so nice. The screened-in and shaded porch was perfect in the hot afternoons. Every room has 1 or more ceiling fans, and there's basically AC through the whole house. We were incredibly comfortable. The pool area is like a tropical paradise. The pool was very clean, the landscaping was lush, and there were more than enough lounge chairs to seat everyone. The bedrooms were really nice, and the balcony overlooking the pool is huge. We had a family dance party up there! The house is on the end of the street - it's quiet and private. The staff was incredibly responsive and helpful, and super friendly. 10/10.

    Had a small family reunion and it was the perfect place to do it. I have relatives in Cancun and staying at an all inclusive is inconvenient because when we have friends or family come to see us they're obligated to pay a daily rate or aren't allowed to visit in our rooms. This allowed us to come and go as we pleased, share family meals cooked in a beautiful kitchen with all the necessary gear. We were so glad to see they even had an espresso machine and sugar in the bowl ready for lates in the morning. The house was stunning right from our first look at the curb and we didn't stop admiring it the whole time we were there. The pool area was gorgeous and meticulously maintained. We used the outdoor grill (they had charcoal right there) and the next day it had been magically cleaned for us. The air conditioning was very welcome and the screened in porch gave us a place to enjoy the outdoors without worrying about the mosquitoes. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Walked to the beach in about 5 minutes and felt safe even at night. Can't wait to go back again soon.
