On a quiet back street just 2 blocks from the beach and a pleasant 15 minute walk to the town square. Lovely large studio apartment with a king bed and a half wall and closet separating the bedroom from the living room and kitchen area. Sofa bed for a third guest if needed. Well-equipped kitchen with granite countertop and full-size fridge. Property shared with 3 other units; a smaller studio on the ground floor, a 2 bedroom on the second floor, and a large studio on the third floor. Rent the whole property for your family gathering. Your unit has a private, screened-in porch. Located right next to the Abbey del Sol property with the central office is located. The office is open every day from 8am to 5pm to help with anything you need. Base rate for 2 people. Extra person per night $30 USD. Non smoking only.

  It was very clean and tidy! And the kitchen was perfectly equipped. The big bed was very comfortable.

  We stayed for 8 nights as a couple with our 6-year-old and had a great experience. The apartment is well-suited for a small family. Being on the ground floor was a big plus, especially with a child — easy access and no stairs to worry about.
  The pool was a highlight for all of us — clean, well-maintained, and perfect for cooling off after a day out. We also really enjoyed using the grill in the evenings.
  The area was peaceful and safe, and the apartment had everything we needed for a relaxed and enjoyable stay. We’d definitely recommend it to other families

  My wife and I stayed in this Studio Feb. 11th to 21st after our daughter went home. its a nice unit at the back of the building just off the pool. All amenities you would need are provided. The bed was very comfortable and the large screened in Lanai was especially nice just off the pool. With large comfortable arm chair as well as small table and chairs it was a great spot to spend time in the mornings. Really enjoyed this unit although it could use a little updating in bathroom fixtures and furniture. I mentioned this minor detail to the ladies in the office and they were very supportive and wanted complete details of our concern. Would not hesitate to stay in this unit again. plenty of room for a couple. As I mentioned in a review of Sonoma #3 upstairs the staff are excellent and treat you like family.

  We rented this apartment for 5 days. It is a one-floor rental that includes big jugs of drinking and cooking water, beach towels, beach chairs and bicycles which we found to be a great addition to our trip. Any trip you want to organize can be done by sending a whatsapp message or walking to the main property management office around the corner. We would definately stay in one of their apartments again. Clean, good bed, good showers and it backs up onto a pool. I wasn't interested in swimming in the pool (its chlorinated) and its not big enough to do laps but if you wanted to cool off its great. The lounge chairs and trees around it is very lovely. Because the apartment is on the main floor, we closed our blinds for privacy as other people can use the pool area but mostly we had it to ourselves. It is a 5 minute or less walk to the beach!!!

  We have come back every year for a while, Abbey del Sol and their associated properties are wonderful , with friendly attentive staff and well kept properties. Their decorative touches are nice, but be careful with them. This year I. broke a soap dispenser and had to pay $36 CAD. That is a lot for a soap dispenser.

  We’ve stayed at Abbey Del Sol properties on and off, for years and always love it. Clean, and they go above and beyond to make your vacation perfect. Unfortunately, we can no longer get a reservation during our chosen time. Too many snow birds who book for months at a time, have taken all properties during the winter months. So if we want to return to Puerto Morelos we will have to find another option. We have been vacationing here for almost 25 years. Our children grew up spending every spring break here.

  Sonoma #2, an Abbey del sol property was in a beautiful neighborhood close to the best beach bars. This particular rental had a walkout to a well maintained pool surrounded by lush gardens and included a gas bbq. The apartment was well equipped with all utensils and appliances. The king sized bed was comfortable and the linens above grade. The staff were excellent, friendly and professional. The gardens/ pool were maintained daily and the rental thoroughly cleaned weekly. As a guest you have access to bikes. This was the only area that I feel could be improved since not all of the bikes were in good working order.That being said, this rental was still fantastic!

  This is our secon stay at Casa Sonoma. This year we stayed in #2. We had a fabulous stay. We arrived by prearranged transportation by Jin who is excellent. He got in touch with us beforehand to confirm. We arrived and our apartment was perfect. Everything was in place. The owner was there at the same time and was great to see again this year. He takes great care of his property.
  
  The property is only a couple of blocks from the beach - best of both worlds with a pool and the beach.
  
  Bicycles are another great addition to the property.

A home away from home, what I really appreciate is that there is enough coffee available for the first morning or two until one gets to the grocery store.
  Sonoma #1 is very private with one other apt.on the premises to share the pool.
  I had an excellent Italian meal at Spaghettini Restaurant which is slightly out of the way, All restaurants are accessible on foot and being a solo traveller I feel very safe walking home alone.

  This is another fantastic property managed by Abbey Del sol and manager Jin. As found at their other properties Jin and company supply a great vacation experience. We would recommend Abbey Del Sol management to all persons looking for a relaxing, quality vacation experience. We are already booked for next year.

  Our unit was comfortable and extremely well cared for. The pool and surroundings were lovely. The staff are very helpful with any questions or problems. I highly recommend Abbey del Sol in general and this unit in particular.
